Network Installation Technician (30-day temp position)

Job Overview:

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to install the SIPR Network infrastructure in the Joint Task Force - Southern Border (JTF-SB). Installation will include the following: drilling holes into the concrete walls and seal all holes with fireproof material as necessary; installing cable trays that hang below the tile ceiling; installing no less than eight 48-port switches in designated locations; running red CAT6 from switches to users dispersed throughout the JTF-SB HQ; Ensure that all cables remain visible at all times and terminate at the end user; Coordinate with the FHAZ NEC and JTF-SB J6 to ensure compliance with all applicable Army and DoD policies and regulations.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Objectives: The objective of this contract is to install the SIPR network infrastructure within the JTF-SB HQ in compliance with the following regulations and policies:

The contractor will be responsible for the purchasing, installation, and testing of all materials required for the installation of the SIPR network in compliance with standards listed above.

Minimum Requirements/Education:

• Work M-F between the hours of 1800-0600, Saturday any time after 1300, and all-day Sunday
• Install cables and work with patch panels
• Have 3 years' experience working with regulations and policies pertaining to cyber security and network infrastructure

Security Requirement:

• An Active DoD Secret Clearance is required
