Printpack's manufacturing plant in Villa Rica, GA is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Laminator Operator.

Pay: $22.83 - $28.55 per hour depending on experience

Additional night shift premium of $2.50 per hour. Included in overtime hours and double-time hours.

Schedule: 12 hour - Night Shift 7:00pm - 7:00am on a 3/2 schedule

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure

  • Ability to be self-directed and multitask

  • Ability to lead and manage the performance of others

  • Timeliness

  • Ability to obtain forklift license and operate forklift

  • Ability to use a computer

  • Ability to calculate/count

    The Laminator Operator is responsible for the overall operation of the Laminator, which includes, but is not limited to:

    • Set up and monitor the machine process to assure quality product

    • Ensure productivity goals are met for department/machine by monitoring run speeds, set up times, and coordination of support departments

    • Troubleshoot and correct problems

    • Communication orally and/or in writing to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers and daily shift information

    • Accurate and timely production reporting

    • Training new associates

    • Comply with all safety rules

    Resume containing relevant experience is required for further consideration
