A Production Operator position in Burgettstown, PA is available through Belcan. This is a contract opportunity with our key chemical client. In this role you will be a part of our client's production team as a Production Operator and support the production of inorganic color pigments that are used worldwide for coloring in numerous industries such as construction, paints & coatings and plastics.

Responsibilities;
- Charge, blend and package pigments as instructed by the blend, repackaging, or packaging sheets.
- Troubleshoot equipment and make repairs commensurate with skill level.
- Recognize defects in finished product such as lumps or streaking in finished product.
- Prepare equipment for new blend by thoroughly cleaning to prevent cross contamination.
- Complete all required company training.

Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
-Position requires the selected candidate to possess a high degree of sensory attention and visual inspection of the product throughout the manufacturing process.
-A valid driver license is required together with the successful completion of pre-employment drug and background checks.
