Key Responsibilities

Analysis Analyzes, develops and integrates operational performance information from multiple sources and identifies potential program development and process improvement opportunities. Develops analytics and metrics, including models and simulations, to present to organizational leadership in support of program/process improvement efforts. Monitors departmental performance goals and metrics and identifies areas at risk.

Planning and Analysis Defines strategic continuous improvement objectives. Analyzes business needs and identifies potential process improvement initiatives and program management opportunities, all aligned to strategic objectives. Scopes potential initiatives to forecast the anticipated benefits and resource needs of each. Prioritizes projects and negotiates for resources. Develops departmental and/or cross-functional continuous improvement plans and collaborates with other departments to manage resource constraints and points of overlap. Maintains repository and roadmap of program, process, department projects, continuous improvement activities.

Process/Continuous Improvement Proactively manages complex, widely-scoped and/or cross-functional improvement initiatives. Ensures alignment to business unit and organizational strategic direction. Identifies strategic objectives. Develops process improvement strategies and plans, success metrics and acceptance criteria. Collaborates with others to assign tasks, mitigate risks and ensure timely implementation. Facilitates process improvement work sessions with key stakeholders, including leadership. Develops process governance framework to ensure sustainability of processes and continuous improvement.

Consultation Researches and analyzes operational best practices and makes recommendations for new initiatives or processes. Develops and communicates project plans, reports, and status updates. Drives organizational change and transformation. Serves as a subject matter expert to senior managers and others.

Education/Experience/Certifications

Education Typically a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance or other related field or equivalent experience.

Experience Typically eight or more years in process improvement, project management or related field.

Preferred understanding or breadth of expertise of Meter, EV and/or Telemetry processes, requirements, and practices.

Certifications, Licenses and Training Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Six Sigma certification preferred.

Compensation Range:

$107,025.00 - $178,375.00

Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
