Job Title: Fighter Aircraft Maintenance Tech with Clearance Pay Rate: $42/hr. on W2 without benefits Location: Maxwell AFB, AL, 36112 Duration: 11 Months assignment with possible extension Shift Schedule: Must be flexible to work any shifts Job Description: Maintains equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components. Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components. Conducts complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment. Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents. Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required. Trains and resolves problems for less experienced technicians. Works under general direction. Required Experience: 4 years of aviation maintenance experience. Military background. M240 weapons maintenance. Preferred Experience: Experience working with flare buckets. Required Education: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
