Position Description:

This position assists and contributes to the design, development, and deployment of business systems to meet division goals and objectives. The Lead Business System Specialist provides effective support for Accounting and Finance systems including Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation and Close, Profitability and Cost Management), reporting tools, and the Finance Data Lake. As part of the Finance Information Systems team, maintain and enhance systems to effectively support daily business operations, projects, and business cycles (quarter-end, year-end, annual plan, etc.) Provide subject matter expertise in financial data reporting and analytics.

A successful person in this role will need strong technical and analytical skills, as well as interpersonal and communication skills. This role will require a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and focus on results. Investigate complex issues and consult vendor documentation to identify and implement effective solutions. Take a collaborative approach to working with your teammates using a Center of Excellence (COE) mindset. Previous scripting experience or light coding knowledge would be quite helpful in this position.

Position Location:

• This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.

What you do:

• Support and enhance Accounting and Finance systems including Oracle Cloud Fusion EPM (EDMCS, EPBCS, FCCS, PCMCS)
• Administer security
• Implement configuration and workflow changes
• Rules development
• Chart of accounts maintenance and hierarchy changes
• Report development and maintenance
• Data validation and balancing
• Maintain appropriate controls
• Facilitate system upgrades and refreshes
• Perform required system testing
• Coordinate user acceptance testing
• Maintain accurate and thorough system documentation and SOPs
• Troubleshoot system issues for internal customers and resolve service management tickets
• Work with leaders to capture accurate and detailed business requirements
• Implement system improvements to support business objectives
• Represent Finance as a liaison with IT
• Additional duties as required

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 3-5 years of related experience required. This will ideally include some combination of scripting or light coding experience.
• Experience with Power BI desired.
• Experience with Oracle EPM applications and reporting tools such as Oracle Smart View desired.
• Advanced Excel skills desired.
