Position Overview
The Office of the University Registrar reports to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management which includes the following functional units: Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Student Information Systems, Office of Graduate Admissions, and the Office of the University Registrar.

The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is responsible for catalog overview, course set-up, scheduling, room reservations, transfer credit & course equivalencies, student enrollment, tuition and fee assessment, production and maintenance of the academic record including the official academic transcript, enrollment certification, graduation, and diploma production.

The Catalog and Curriculum Coordinator plays a critical role in overseeing student service programs related to academic curriculum and catalog development for both undergraduate and graduate programs. This role involves managing curriculum workflows, facilitating academic program and course setup, and maintaining relationships across academic departments, governance committees, and system vendors. The Catalog and Curriculum Coordinator represents the division in campus-wide discussions related to compliance and is responsible for evaluating data to support curricular effectiveness and institutional reporting needs.

This position supports faculty, advisors, and university leadership in achieving timely degree progress and academic excellence through accurate and transparent catalog and curriculum systems.

Job Description
70% - Curriculum Management
  • Administers the university's catalog and curriculum management system, ensuring the accurate representation of academic offerings and adherence to institutional, state, and accreditation guidelines.
  • Works with departments establishing new curriculum to accurately be reflected in the university's catalog and meet graduation requirements.
  • Provides technical and policy guidance to academic units on curriculum proposal processes, course inventory management, and the development or discontinuation of academic programs.
  • Manages and provides training for faculty and staff engaged in curriculum development and catalog editing.
  • Communicates regularly with faculty and staff on curriculum development so catalog entries are correct and adhere to university requirements.
  • Conducts testing and implementation of vendor system updates in coordination with university integration changes.
  • Coordinates the publication of annual catalog updates with various campus departments and supports governance workflows for curricular revisions.
  • Collaborates with the Office of Academic Affairs and Registrar leadership to implement strategic curriculum changes that support student persistence and graduation.
25% - Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance
  • Serves as a liaison between the Registrar's Office and academic units, ensuring clarity and support in navigating curriculum processes.
  • Represents the division in collaborative projects focused on academic program support.
  • Supports compliance with university policies, accreditation requirements, and state-level reporting by ensuring accurate curricular records and alignment with student information systems.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports data related to course creation, curriculum changes, and catalog integrity to inform decision-making and program assessment.
5% - Other Responsibilities
  • Participates in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives within the Registrar's Office.
  • Completes additional duties as assigned to support evolving institutional needs.

Required Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related experience OR an Associate's degree plus two (2) years related experience.
  2. Effective written communication skills as indicated by application materials.
  3. Three (3) years of experience providing client or stakeholder support in a service-oriented environment.
  4. Three (3) years of experience in a role requiring effective management of multiple tasks, priorities, or concurrent projects.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated experience working with a student information system such as PeopleSoft as evidenced by application materials.
  2. Demonstrated experience with catalog software such as CourseLeaf CIM/CAT software as evidenced by application materials.
  3. One (1) year experience in a university provost or registrar's office.
