Engineering Clerk - Chicago, IL

Switchcraft is a U.S. manufacturer of connectors, jacks, plugs, molded cable assemblies, patchbays, and switches. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including medical, GPS, process control, transportation, homeland security, broadcast and pro audio.

We are currently seeking an Engineering Clerk who provides essential administrative and data management support to the Engineering department, ensuring accurate and efficient entry, maintenance, and organization of product data, engineering documentation, and change control processes.

Location: On Site position Chicago, IL (Jefferson Park)

Shift- Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Pay: $20-$22/Hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Data Entry and changes into MRP system (MS Dynamics 365 Business Central)
• Coordinator of approval and distribution of Engineering Change Orders
• Assist with logging, filing and control of updated Engineering drawings and documentation
• Additional document organization projects and tasks can be expected
• Monitor of the building lobby for guests, signing in guests and notifying employees that guest have arrived

• High School Diploma or GED
• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, and Access)
• Foxit Phantom PDF or Adobe Acrobat is preferred
• Experience with MS Dynamics NAV is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and manage time well
• Ability to work independently
• Detail orientated
• Veral and written communication in English is required
