The Role

This position is responsible for developing, growing, retaining, and leading client relationships. This is an integral role in the firm and the employee is responsible for delivering the Curi RMB Capital Family Office menu of services.

Key Skills

Investments
  • Deliver comprehensive high level investment advice and recommendations on a wide variety of asset classes including:
    • Public securities of all types
    • Hedge funds
    • Private Equity
    • Private real estate
    • Commodities/futures
    • Options
    • Operating Companies
    • Venture capital
  • Be knowledgeable on all aspects of the Curi RMB Capital investment philosophy and strategy
  • Develop, present, implement and monitor client specific plans
Planning
  • Deliver comprehensive, high-level advice and recommendations on a wide variety of planning topics which include (but are not limited to):
    • Estate planning
    • Complex transfer strategies
    • Retirement strategies
    • Charitable strategies
    • Life insurance
    • Property & casualty insurance
    • Family governance
    • Family financial education
  • Coordinate other trusted advisors including estate planning, tax and insurance professionals
Client Service
  • Demonstrate value through a customized approach that provides insight and recommendations that exceed client expectations
  • Provide best in class client service through proactive client communications, regularly scheduled meetings, distribution of relevant reporting and analysis, and promptly responding to client requests
  • Offer leadership, direction and support to team members
  • Embrace Curi RMB Capital's culture of compliance and client security

Key Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ Years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university or three to five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, or ten+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required: CFP
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with ultra-high net worth families or a family office a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex wealth and estate planning
