Job Summary

The Business Project Manager will create and manage project plans as assigned in coordination with the various business accountable owners to ensure prioritization is conducted and appropriate resources are allocated in order for all projects to be kept on track. Responsible for rolling up project status to the VP for an enterprise view of initiatives and status as requested.

What you'll do...

  • Creates and manages project plans in cooperation with project leads and accountable owners to ensure all projects have completed project charters, dependency plans, financial templates, roadmaps, RACI, governance and risk registers
  • Facilitate project team meetings and communication, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes
  • Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected stakeholders
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports
  • Report and communicate project status, via Maestro, and update to stakeholders and to the Leadership Team to always ensure alignment and clarity
  • Identify, communicate and, if necessary, escalate deviations from the project plan
  • Proactively manage project risks and mitigate issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure that the project outcomes, lessons learned, and project performance are documented
  • Documents status and updates from multiple on-going projects using Maestro completely, accurately, and as per defined deadlines
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Available to travel ~ 10%

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with using project management methodologies and tools. Familiarity with Maestro and Power BI is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders and communicate with a variety of audiences
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing change without direct authority
  • Proactive, self-motivated team player with strong team collaboration skills including reliability, positivity, problem-solving, and respect for diversity
  • Experience in leading virtual meetings
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong background in leading process improvement programs preferred, and utilization of Lean-Six is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years leading or supporting project delivery. Experience in working on projects related to technology and working with developers is a plus
