Overview

Provides quality health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of Physician by performing the following duties in a compassionate, cost effective manner. Is required to participate in on-call roster.

Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in southcentral Wisconsin and northern Illinois, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiac Electrophysiology team in Janesville, WI. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing high quality personalized care to all patients.

Opportunity:

  • Join and collaborate with a robust and growing team of non-invasive Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, EP Cardiologists and, Cardiovascular Surgeons.
  • Our team also includes several APPs, and other support staff.
  • Hours are M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • You will enjoy an outstanding referral system from multiple primary care satellite clinics.
  • Fast paced, busy electrophysiology office practice, hospital rounding and CVI responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
  • A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
  • Cardiac experience required, Electrophysiology experience preferred
  • Inpatient rounding and ambulatory clinic experience required

Education/Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited MSN program
  • Current WI RN license
  • Current WI APNP license
  • Current DEA number
  • ATLS certification
  • Other certifications as required

Education and Experience

Graduate of NCCPA approved Physician Assistant program
Two years experience as surgical PA preferred
