Senior Electrical Engineering Technician - Clearance Required

Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician to provide support to a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer.

This role will support the design, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems. Candidates should possess strong engineering fundamentals and an understanding of quality control standards, as well as familiarity with U.S. Navy submersibles and related systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing designs for complex engineering systems, structure and components, including mechanical, electrical, and circuits, from planning to execution
• Read and provide analysis on drawings
• Generate computer models

Here's what you need:

• 3 years of relevant experience
• Expertise with engineering technology, materials, and equipment, including repair of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and document test data and quality check lists
• Experience using electrical tools and equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment for construction of items as described in the drawings
• Knowledge in cabling and harness manufacturing in accordance with IPC610 standard, and in electrical systems and cabling inspection in accordance with IPC-620 standard
• Certification in soldering of electrical components in accordance with standard J-STD001 is desired

Bonus points if you have:

• More than 10 years of experience related to the position description
• Familiarity with U.S. Navy submersibles or related systems

Security Clearance: DOD SECRET

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work Schedule: M-F 0900-1700
