Truck Driver

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for daily truck inspection and documentation prior to use.

2. Responsible for the safe operation of equipment in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.

3. Moves loads of fruit, packaging materials, ingredients and finished goods between production plants and outside storage locations.

4. Maintains daily mileage log in accordance with state and federal regulations.

5. Advises the Supervisor or Lead Worker of any operational problems, equipment failure, or safety and quality issues.

6. Required to attend work on a timely and consistent basis for scheduled hours. Ability to work overtime as required.

7. Upload receipts for fuel and supplies into a computer system in a timely manner.

8. Be able to occasionally use material handling equipment to load or unload materials.

Decision-Making Authority/Accountability Level:

Accountable for intact and timely delivery of merchandise and the safe operation of company equipment.

Education (or equivalent experience)

High School/GED

Certification or Licenses:

CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required; Forklift certification required
