Dental Assistant PT

The Orthodontic Assistant is responsible for performing detailed orthodontic procedures and directly assisting with patient care in conjunction with the management of surgical treatment. This role includes preparing for patient hours by setting up rooms, preparing appliances, and stocking instruments and supplies. Clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to the accurate acquisition of 2D and 3D X-rays, intra and extraoral photos, detailed charting, executing precise orthodontic procedures as directed by the provider, and coordination of care between multiple providers.

• High School Diploma / GED - Required
• Technical Diploma - Dental Assistant - Required
• At least one year of related experience - Required
• Certified Dental Assistant with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) OR Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) - Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) issued through an organization that requires a hands-on instructor-led psychomotor skills verification (e.g., American Heart Association or Red Cross) - Required

8:00 - 4:30 or 8:30 - 5:00 PM, two days a week
