Overview

The Financial Reporting Manager will manage the financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing accurate and timely financial statements, internal reporting packages and schedules. This role plays a critical role in financial governance, regulatory compliance and supporting executive decision-making.


Responsibilities

    Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Develop and implement financial reporting policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Develop and implement best practices to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy
  • Partner with senior leadership to interpret financial results, trends and key performance indicators
  • Develop a strong understanding of the OneStream global consolidating system in order to design a repository of financial reports and books
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
  • The wage range for this position is $106,900.00-$154,000.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience



Qualifications

Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Required) and
* Master's Degree (Preferred)

Experience
* 5+ years experience in financial reporting (Required) and
* 3+ years experience in freight forwarding industry (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Analytical and quantitative skills High
* Ability to analyze numbers and draw logical conclusions High
* Technical accounting background Medium
* Multi-entity, international consolidation experience Medium
* Financial management skills including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and a commercial sense of business High
* Work ethic, self-motivated work style attention to detail and enjoy a dynamic environment with new challenges and changing work priorities High
* Freight industry experience a plus Low
* OneStream and CargoWise experience a plus Low

Licenses and Certifications
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Upon Hire (Required)
