*Description*
*Job Summary* The Resilience Manager works independently to lead the analysis, development and strategic optimization of Business Resilience recovery program activities to ensure continuation of critical processes in the event of a significant disruption. They are responsible for leading all tactical and operational activities to meet program commitments including evaluating relevant data, drawing insights, driving risk-informed decisions and optimizing recovery capabilities. *Responsibilities* * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Business Resilience planning aligns with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements * Respond at time of incident to assess, analyze, assist business areas and run the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) * Lead the analysis and assessment of Business Resilience program services and business impact to identify vulnerabilities, risk and exposure and draw thoughtful conclusions and recommendations * Communicate with all levels of the business on the status of events, resilience services and recommendations through clear, concise written and verbal communication ensuring timely communication * Coordinate and monitor Disaster Recovery testing and facilitate Business Continuity exercises to ensure response activities function appropriately, issues are logged and status reports are provided to business partners * Develop, implement, maintain and enhance Business Resilience planning and processes including Crisis Management Plan and Crisis Communications Plan * Strategize, develop, maintain and optimize Business Resilience planning to ensure effectiveness and compliance with government and regulatory standards * Coordinate and run Resilience training and awareness programs to enhance business partners' preparedness to implement strategies * Act as a key liaison by collaborating with external partners, including vendors and government agencies, for Business Resilience initiatives * Stay current with industry trends and regulations to continuously improve and update strategies *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * This is a strategic team of 7 that interface with multiple organizations at our client. We need someone who knows how a BC/DR program works and is also good with being hands on for plan development. * Open to a technical bkgrd, but the candidate will need to understand this is a strategic position and they have engineering and architecture partners that run the actual execution and testing. This team is a facilitator and strategic plan development. * Experience with writing and overhaul of BC/DR * Developing critical vendor playbooks. No vendor runbooks because they are expecting vendors to do that. Goal is to have all 40 done by EOY. Current state they have 50% done. * They need someone with expertise in how DR/BC program should be set up and then getting hands on with the development of plans. They are on strategic team and do not execute the technical tests. They have engineering and architecture partners internally that do the test execution. They do however facilitate the exercise and tests. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
