Job Description Senior Medical Director About the Job: As a Senior Medical Director, you'll serve as a key medical expert, providing strategic guidance and scientific expertise to drive brand strategy and ensure scientific accuracy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and healthcare professionals, supporting new business development, and staying current on the latest medical research and trends, leveraging your independence and expertise to deliver high-impact results. A Day in the Life: Critically review agency-developed content for accuracy and consistency. Develop and apply disease state, clinical knowledge, and strategic skills across brands. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and healthcare professionals to achieve brand objectives. Create medical backgrounders to educate cross-functional teams on disease states and products. Ensure consistent messaging and "medical hooks" across content. Foster strong relationships with client medical teams to co-develop medical projects. Stay up-to-date on relevant medical literature and provide insights to teams and clients. Participate in workshops, brand planning, and pitch development with clients and internal teams. Contribute to new business pitches as a core team member, providing medical insights and expertise. What you will need: Master's degree or higher in Clinical/Scientific field (e.g., MS, MD, PhD, PharmD). 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Excellent communication skills, with ability to clearly convey medical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams and build constructive relationships. Ability to manage multiple workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Leadership skills, with ability to direct junior team members and provide constructive feedback. Financial management skills, including ability to review staffing plans, estimate workflow hours, and manage timesheets and expense reports. Ability to develop and present medical content, including core medical education deliverables and strategic storytelling. Strong strategic thinking skills, with ability to develop medical insights and contribute to pitch presentations. Salary
$120,000 to $170,000 annually. The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
