Job Description: A Quality Assurance Technician for Food Safety plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. This professional is an integral part of the food production process, working diligently to ensure that products meet regulatory requirements and consumers' expectations. Their expertise helps prevent contamination, ensures compliance with food safety laws, and ultimately protects public health. Shift hours: Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm. Inspections/Auditing: Participate in and perform internal audits for ISO, food safety, and quality requirements.Share results in documented reports as well as food safety meetings. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with manufacturing operators to prevent defects and, when defects are found, seek out and remove causes. Testing: Test samples of finished product for correct date coding, cook quality, dimensions, and other quality parameters following specified procedures. Education and Experience: A high school diploma/GED is required for this position, and some college level chemistry courses would be helpful. Pay $ 21.00 per hour with $1.50 shift differential.
