What this job involves:

Join JLL's dynamic team as a Financial Analyst where you'll play a critical role in driving strategic real estate decisions through comprehensive financial modeling, market analysis, and client deliverable management. This position combines technical financial expertise with client-facing responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work on complex commercial real estate transactions while supporting business development initiatives. You'll collaborate with senior professionals to deliver high-quality analytical work that directly impacts our clients' investment strategies and contributes to JLL's reputation as a leading commercial real estate services firm.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • * Financial Modeling & Analysis - Develop detailed financial models for transaction activities, apply GAAP principles, and calculate key valuation metrics (cap rates, IRR, cash-on-cash returns)
  • Market Research & Data Collection - Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data while conducting comprehensive market research using internal and external sources
  • Lease Document Review - Abstract, analyze, and interpret commercial lease documents ensuring quality assurance, consistency, and data integrity across client systems
  • Client Communication & Deliverable Management - Proactively manage client deliverables, communicate with clients to gather financial information, and prepare presentation-ready documentation and spreadsheets
  • Business Development Support - Collaborate with senior team members on proposals and presentations, research client businesses, and create marketing materials including PowerPoint presentations, brochures, and interactive PDFs
  • Quality Control & Process Improvement - Maintain high-quality standards across all work products while proactively identifying and reducing errors in processes
  • Cross-functional Collaboration - Work effectively across multiple organizational levels to support various projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications:
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience - Up to 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, real estate, or related industry
  • Technical Proficiency - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office suite products
  • Financial Knowledge - Intermediate understanding of GAAP, FASB regulations, and fundamental real estate principles including valuation metrics *
  • Communication Skills - Advanced oral and written communication abilities with excellent customer service skills
  • Analytical Abilities - Demonstrated elite financial competency with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Work Management - Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in dynamic environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software Experience - Knowledge of Argus or other real estate financial modeling software
  • Industry Knowledge - Familiarity with commercial real estate market trends, lease structures, and investment analysis
  • Presentation Skills - Experience creating professional presentations, marketing materials, and client-facing documents
  • Market Research - Background in conducting market research and analyzing comparable sales/lease data
  • Client Interaction - Previous experience in client-facing roles or business development support activities
  • Process Improvement - Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing quality control measures
  • Adaptability - Demonstrated flexibility in task management and ability to quickly learn new systems or processes
