Day & Zimmermann is actively accepting applications for a Project Controls Analyst. The ideal candidates will be working at South Texas Project in Wadsworth, TX.

Under general supervision, the Project Controls Analyst will perform the routine aspects of scheduling, estimating, cost analysis, scope control tracking, and reporting. With additional experience within one specialty, the individual is expected to participate in larger and more complex project controls assignments

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Exposure to all aspects of cost control (development of craft/staff rates, study end users' procedures, perform exercises in SAP, and cost report development).
  • Exposure to all proprietary software (PC Lite, D&Z Estimator, and WebToolBox).
  • Once training is complete, support WBS development, budget creation, and other aspects in SAP.
  • Support the development of Estimates and WebToolBox cost reporting.
  • Assist with the execution of financial management, including budgets, tracking invoices (as needed), reviewing timesheets, and monitoring/forecasting cost.
  • Support project and project definition close-out.
  • Exposure to scheduling basics to assist efforts for in-house field activities.


What You Need to Bring To The Table:

  • College degree or minimum five years related experience in a construction environment.
  • Entry level up to three years' experience in related project controls assignments
  • Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $44,000.00 - $ 151,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
