Security Professional - Utilities Patrol

As a Security Professional - Utilities Patrol in Greenville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and potential disruptions by maintaining a visible presence.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• You must possess a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
