(Bilingual) Patient Services/Phone Agent - Mission Hills, CA Job Description: As a Bilingual Patient Service Agent (Phone Agent) you will work in a call center enviroment and answer incoming calls from patients. Answering on average 60-80 calls a day. Contract to Hire: Must work 560 total hours in order to eligibible for conversion. conversion to permanent role is based on performance and attendance. Pay: $21 - $22/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Location: Mission Hills, CA 91345 Responsibilities: * Answer inbound phone calls (60-80 calls a day on average) * Verify insurance (HMO, PPO, etc.) * Schedule appointments * Provide customer service and support patients with questions * Translate for Spanish-speaking patients * Perform repetitive essential day-to-day tasks to ensure the clinic runs smoothly * Log all calls in the EMR system (NextGen) * Maintain confidentiality of patient information Qualifications: * Must be bilingual in Spanish/English * Experience answering a high volume of calls (Call center and Customer Service experience is a major plus but not required) * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills * Healthcare customer service experience * Scheduling experience * HMO experience Job Types: Full-time, Contract Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends Language: * Spanish and English (Required) Ability to Commute: * Mission Hills, CA 91345 (Required) Work Location: In person Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
