Genesis10 is seeking a Program Manager: IV (Lead) for a contract to hire position with a leading client in Columbus, OH. This is a hybrid position.

Compensation: $90-110 per hour W2.


Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the program manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.
  • Works under the management of the Program director and works closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
  • Experience in managing stakeholders
  • Outstanding knowledge of change management principles
  • Working knowledge of Cyber Security Technologies
  • Excellent Communication Skills ability to explain complex technical issues with senior executives, business users, requiring the ability to share crucial information that can affect product design or delivery
  • Risk Management Knowledge in preparing and responding to risks while overseeing their projects
  • Leadership skills ability to motivate people and think of innovative ways to solve problems. Create program road maps that detail tasks and milestones for people to complete while developing a product, this is needed to help ensure each person knows their role and the goals so that everyone shares the desire for success.
  • Business Knowledge basic business knowledge, understanding how organizations structure their business and technology departments and basic financial concepts, like budgeting and profit.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Preferred Experience:

  • ServiceNow experience a plus
  • Waterfall and the use of ADO boards a plus
