Driveline Technician I - Weekend Shift

Perform technical duties related to the manufacturing of driveshafts

• 
  

  Operate cut off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, balancers and other mechanical equipment

  
  

• 
  

  Use hand tools to assemble driveshafts

  
  

• 
  

  Using measuring devise from tape measures to various types of calipers

  
  

• 
  

  Other duties as assigned

  
  

• Have general mechanical experience
• Works under close direction of senior personnel
• Ability to/or learn to read tape measures, dial indicators and calipers
• Ability to/or learn to use small tools such as air tools, hammers, pliers, punches
• Ability to learn to operate cut off saws, welders and other mechanical equipment
• Ability to read work order and instructions given to perform effectively
• Physical Requirement: Must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Technical experience required
