Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Staffing Specialist for our Pooler team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. You will generate direct hire and temp-to-hire career staffing business through effective sales and marketing practices, and service customer's career staffing needs by recruiting to fill job openings with qualified employees.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Develop business with focus on Temp-to-Hire and Direct Hire Placements to maintain consistent billing at minimal GM% with required hours prior to client hiring.
  • Evaluates temporary employees and determines the employee who would best meet the needs for our customers, while at the same time evaluating the needs and skills of the temporary employee.
  • Responsible for formulating and presenting the orientation that will ensure the employee is able to meet the specific needs of each position and for each customer as well as evaluating and answering questions that arise during the orientation process.
  • Evaluates attendance and performance of temporary employees.
  • Determines best methods to ensure the human resources needs of the customer and the employee are met.
  • Investigates discrimination complaints to resolve and/or make recommendations as to the resolutions of the matter.
  • Investigates and resolves client/employee problems and issues and informs appropriate personnel of problems and opportunities.
  • Contributes to the Company's candidate database by evaluating and implementing the best methods for recruiting potential candidates.
  • Researches, evaluates, and makes recommendations as to job fairs and recruitment events to gain positive return on investment.

Competencies

Competencies we value for this role include ethical conduct, thoroughness, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills, customer-service orientation, good skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, and an ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment. We also desire two years of sales experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
