Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, primarily through driving, to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those on site. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a tech, media, or telecom environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site policies.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding any security-related incidents or concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Primarily driving post experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
