Your Role at Baxter:

You will support and develop strategic customer relationships and grow the nutrition business in collaboration with the US Sales Teams. As the Nutrition Key Account Manager, you will drive the growth and retention strategies managing a portion of the ~$335M of Nutrition Revenue in all care settings. You will sell, manage and build senior level relationships at Acute and Non-Acute customers within their designated geography. You will partern with all sales, marketing and operations teams and represent our Infusion Therapies and Technology Commercial US Businesses. You will ensure that value is created, the customer experience is positive, commitments are met, and mutual goals are achieved.

The Nutrition Key Account Manager is an individual contributor (no direct reports) reporting to the Area Vice President of Sales. You'll work collaboratively across many key partners within the organization.

This is a remote based role with expected travel within assigned territory about 60%. Ideal candidate resides within the Central region of the US.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and fully implement the integrated sales strategy and growth plan within the assigned accounts.

  • Responsible for strategic account portfolio development, disciplined pipeline management and execution of the integrated sales strategy.

  • Ensure positive customer experiences, value creation, retention, and growth.

  • Play a key leadership role in working with Franchises, Marketing, Clinical, Operations, Finance, Legal and Sales teams to ensure Baxter and customer goals are met, enterprise value propositions and strategies are fully developed, implemented and represented in strategic accounts.

  • Ensure collaboration with the sales and clinical teams to achieve maximum benefits.

  • Develop strategic account plans and metric driven customer centric QBRs.

  • Develop and maintain relationships in assigned accounts, industry associations and internal partners

  • Promote the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing customer relations.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve financial goals or strategic business objectives.

  • Excellent executive presentation, written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated success working directly with clinicians externally and internally.

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and trends along with the Nutrition business in Acute and Non-Acute settings

  • Excellent customer orientation and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to organize, manage and coordinate resources.

  • Success leading complex sales and contract negotiation processes. Ability to easily understand contract language and negotiate provisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate change.

  • Effective relationship development and interpersonal skills.

  • Must have strong sales management abilities, strategic planning skills, financial competence, and analytical skills.

  • 8 + years Healthcare sales preferably with a focus in clinically driven product portfolio

  • Up to 60% travel required.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000 to $252,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for discretionary bonus and long-term incentive.
