About The Program: The Furnace Development Program is a rotational program that trains engineers to become Furnace Leaders within Owens Corning manufacturing plants, Insulating Systems Business, and Composites Solutions Business. Participants will be mentored by experienced professionals to learn strategy and troubleshooting to enhance technical and leadership skills. Duration: The program lasts 24 months. Key Responsibilities:
Outcome: Graduate a melting subject matter experts from supplier, to weighing of raw materials, to application of energy, to melting stability & delivery of melted glass where product fiberized. At completion of the program, you are placed in a full-time assignment as a Furnace Engineer or Leader at a North American Owens Corning manufacturing plant. What We're Looking For: Seeking an enthusiastic candidate who will take initiative to drive results, execute goals, and creatively navigate through tasks. Demonstrates a desire to develop technical and leadership capabilities, in a manufacturing environment, while furthering their career and long-term impact on Owens Corning. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
LOCATION OF ASSIGNMENT: Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the US. The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$78,000.
