Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and AI Sales Enablement professional to empower sales teams with the tools, messaging, and strategies needed to drive revenue from Rockwell Automation's AI portfolio. This role combines sales enablement expertise with product marketing skills to ensure our AI solutions are effectively positioned in the market and resonate with customers.

As an important member of the AI commercial enablement team, you will work with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights and customer-facing materials. Your work will help equip sales teams to position our AI solutions while ensuring our portfolio is competitively differentiated.

This role is an individual contributor role and will report to the AI Commercial Enablement Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

Sales Enablement

  • Develop training programs and materials that enhance sales teams' ability to articulate the value of Rockwell Automation's AI portfolio.
  • Align customer challenges with Rockwell Automation's AI solutions to identify revenue-driving opportunities.
  • Collect and document real-world use cases that demonstrate how AI solutions address specific customer challenges.
  • Provide direct support for high-value strategic deals by crafting tailored messaging and competitive positioning strategies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to highlight key differentiators and create counter-strategies for sales success.

Product Messaging Development

  • Create engaging content such as pitch decks, value articulation assets, competitive positioning guides, and technology roadmaps tailored for sales teams and customers.
  • Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, concise messaging for non-expert audiences while maintaining technical accuracy.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure messaging aligns with broader campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and go-to-market strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with subject matter experts across engineering, marketing, and regional business units to align messaging with organizational priorities.
  • Work closely with communication leads to deliver new or updated content across regions and industries effectively.

Content Effectiveness & Optimization

  • Track metrics to measure the effectiveness of messaging assets and their adoption by sales teams. Use data insights to refine content development priorities for continuous improvement.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 25%.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, product marketing, or business development roles within technology or industrial sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field; technical background
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in enterprise environments (e.g., computer vision, machine learning models).
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business narratives that resonate with customers and sales teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; experience creating visual content is a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across multiple departments in matrixed organizations.
