- Pay rate: $18-$25 BOE per hour.
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 2 PM-10:30 PM

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform "Power-Wash", sanding, scraping, cleaning and other pre-painting activities on parts, walls, equipment, concrete & other surfaces in preparation for painting/fabrication
- Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal, drywall, concrete, plastic varieties, and other products
- Suggest tools and equipment to improve the operation of the unit
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment and observe good safety habits
- Adhere to all OSHA and HazMat Procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area
- Responsible for reporting malfunctions of equipment or processing to the supervisor.
- Ability to Caulk, silicon & seal various items for painting.
- Craftsmanship & quality is key.
- Ability to stand, Kneel, Bend in various positions to apply paint for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to apply paint with brush, roller, spray units, etc.
- Ability to paint from heights, 20+ feet while following all safety guidelines.
- Ability to use manlifts, scissor lifts, forklifts to assist with painting jobs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED to work in an organization. But Auto Body and/or Industrial Painting certification or degree may be preferred but not required
- Knowledge: minimum of 2 years of experience with industrial/ commercial painting interior/ exterior. Have a basic understanding of paint equipment and paint-booth operation.
- Must be familiar with the various types of metal abrasive treatments such as media -blasting, chemical etching, Degreasers, etc.
- Proven ability & Knowledge to mix paints to specifications and ability to balance & spray Industrial Urethane Coatings, water and Solvent based Coating Systems
- Open to Learning: willingness to learn adapt to new processes, help with improving processes & developing as a teammate.
- Time management: Must be on time for scheduled work shifts, re-prioritize work/tasks in progress, and complete assigned tasks in good time
- Flexibility: Industrial painters may be required to work weekends, overtime, or travel occasionally
- Team player: It is important that they can contribute their effort to group tasks and goals.
