Position Summary

Odyssey is looking for a meticulous and detail-driven Desktop Publisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and formatting a variety of reports to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with company or client standards. Your work will play a key role in the professional presentation of technical, scientific, or business documents. This is a remote, part-time role.



Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Format reports, presentations, and supporting documents to meet branding and style guidelines.
  • Apply consistent structure, layout, font usage, and formatting across all sections of a report.
  • Create and maintain templates to streamline future formatting tasks.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and subject matter experts to finalize polished, client-ready documents.
  • Incorporate charts, tables, and figures into reports with attention to alignment, legibility, and visual consistency.
  • Perform final document checks for typographical and formatting errors before submission or publication.


Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: None

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, English, or a related field

Years of Experience: 3+

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for layout and design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience formatting technical or scientific documents is a bonus.
