Job Purpose

The Digital Services Development (DSD) Division is tasked with navigating the strategy and execution for Honda's current & future digital services. The team will focus on building and sustaining Honda's competitiveness in the marketplace by developing digital services, features, products, and services with a sharp focus on customer experience. The team holds responsibility for customer value, competitiveness, development, and profitability of these services for Honda in North America.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Digital Services Business team. In this role, you will provide financial insights and support to drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. You will need a deep understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position involves expertly managing the financial aspects of our Digital Services businesses, ensuring the faithful execution of the company's contracts and business obligations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:

    • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions.
    • Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and reports.
    • Create detailed financial analysis to improve Digital Services business.
    • Represent financial reporting at key AHM events.


  • Gross Profit Management:

    • Manage all Gross Profit aspects of financial operations for the Digital Services Division.
    • Understand business lines and vendor agreements, ensuring compliance.
    • Oversee invoice and revenue management, ensuring validation and reconciliation.


  • Budget Forecasting:

    • Lead and direct department's plan and develop budget forecasting for Gross Profit.
    • Consolidate and validate budget forecasts for submission to executive management.


  • Collaboration and Compliance:

    • Collaborate with operations and other departments to optimize financial processes.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
    • Collaborate with other Business Units and other teams for business financial planning.


  • Process Improvement:

    • Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs.
    • Recommend and propose process improvements for operational efficiencies.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree is required, ideally with a major in Finance, Accounting, Business; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in an operations setting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
