The University of Virginia International Studies Office seeks applications to recruit an Administrative Generalist. Administrative Generalists are responsible for a variety of professional level work across a composite of administrative service areas including budget, finance, procurement, human resources, academic administration, student services, communications, grants and research administration, space and facilities and/or high-level operational support. They act on behalf of a program, function, or department, and may report to a unit administrator. Administrative Generalists need to be adaptable and detailed oriented since they assume a breadth of responsibilities across multiple functions. Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: At least three years of experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. This position is Hybrid located in Charlottesville, VA. This could change depending on the needs of the department This position is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance. Anticipated Hiring Range: $60,000 - $65,000 commensurate with education and experience. This is an Exempt level, benefited position.
