Wealth Management Global Leadership Team

The Wealth Management Global Leadership Team provides management and strategy oversight across all businesses within Wealth, including Private Wealth, GS Ayco, the Private Bank, Marcus and our Operations and Engineering counterparts.

The Analyst for this role will work across the organization with other areas such as Business Unit and Divisional COOs, Product, Finance, Investor Relations, and Marketing. The multi-faceted role requires an individual with strong analytical, problem solving, quantitative, communication, presentation, and project management skills who is capable of multitasking across several large projects.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL



  • Tell the evolving story and strategy of Goldman Sachs Wealth Management (GSWM)
  • Assist with the creation and development of GSWM's annual strategy and business plan, goals, and objectives
  • Conduct wealth management competitor research to uncover key themes, drivers of industry change, and evaluate GSWM's relative positioning and provide recommendations
  • Develop concise and effective presentation materials for senior leadership, Operating Group, Management Committee and the Board
  • Facilitate cross functional meetings between GSWM Leadership, business units, and other key stakeholders in order to identify and drive key strategic initiatives forward


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR



  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Strong academic record and 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Excellent writing and presentation development skills that can take complex concepts and create concise narratives for presentation and discussion
  • Experience conducting market and competitor research, including familiarity with corporate filings and financial statements (e.g., Form 10-K) to drive insights and inform recommendations and action plans
  • Effective relationship building skills and the ability to work in a matrixed, collaborative organization
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and shifting timelines
  • Self-starter who learns quickly and is attentive to detail
  • Strong team player
  • Highly proficient at Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior Wealth Management experience is strongly preferred
