Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Conyers, GA

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will focus primarily on the commercial aspects of the business and support selling, general, and administrative expense initiatives for various functions. This person will support all reporting, forecasting, and analysis associated with the Sales organization. This person will work cross-functionally between finance, sales, and product management to understand market dynamics and assess business performance.

Further, they will support the preparation of DFR's commercial strategic plan and annual operating plan as well as spend time monitoring and tracking annual sales incentives. This person will work closely with division finance teams ensuring a level of consistency in process across the portfolio. The role requires an individual willing to "think outside the box" with a willingness to collaborate closely with other key stakeholders to enhance or transform existing processes to drive deeper, more meaningful analyses and business insight.

What you will be responsible for in this role:

  • Partner with both DFR personnel and Dover Business Services in fulfilling the deliverables and expectations of this position
  • Partner with the VP Sales, Regional Sales VP's, and Regional Sales Managers to track, measure, and evaluate customer revenue risks and opportunities
  • Drive transformation efforts specific to the role and the broader finance organization
  • Develop rhythm, metrics, tools, and resources to assist in reporting and tracking revenue by customer and product category
  • Provide leadership with visibility to bookings, backlog, and forecast data
  • Analyze revenue forecasts for accuracy and help drive accountability
  • Support monthly forecast updates as well as the preparation of our annual operating plan and strategic plan
  • Support the design, accuracy, implementation, and usage/maintenance of various forecasting and reporting tools such as Power BI, Salesforce, Hyperion, and OneStream
  • Forecast and analyze trends within SG&A for various functions
  • Track Sales Team bonus & incentive planning
  • Prepare SOPs on current and future processes to ensure accurate team documentation
  • Support divisional finance teams as needed with routine and ad-hoc analyses

What are the basic qualifications?

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
  • 3-5+ years' experience in a similar financial analyst role, with preference in a manufacturing environment
