Description & Requirements
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and deliver impactful software solutions that tackle real-world problems. You will focus on ensuring security, performance, simplicity, usability, and maintainability in your work. Additionally, you will mentor and guide less experienced engineers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing within your team.
How you will contribute:
  • Fosters continuous improvement by embracing agile methodologies, learning new technologies, and advocating best practices.
  • Enhances team collaboration through knowledge documentation, mentoring, and guiding team members while contributing to sprint and development meetings.
  • Designs, documents, and develops enterprise-level software architecture, databases, RESTful APIs, and intuitive user experiences that align with requirements and specifications.
  • Writes, reviews, and maintains high-quality, secure code, adhering to SDLC, source control, and secure coding practices.
  • Supports QA and release processes by validating findings, resolving defects, assisting with performance testing, and contributing to release planning.
  • Conducts business analysis tasks such as requirements gathering, wireframing, and working with stakeholders to refine goals.
  • Assists with root cause analysis, creates monitoring tools, and leads team-based development efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of:
    • Languages and Scripts: C#, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, & CSS
    • Tools: Visual Studio, Wireframing Software, & SSMS
    • Libraries & Frameworks: .NET Core, .NET Framework, Blazor or Another Component Library, Entity Framework or Other ORM, & Bootstrap or Another CSS Framework
    • Processes & Standards: Git, Gitflow, OO Programming, Kanban, Secure Coding, & Agile Methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Trade or technical school
  • 5 - 9 years of relevant industry experience
