Job Summary The Pryor Relief Operator positions are critical positions within the Pryor Organizational Structure. Relief Operator positions are management appointed positions that will be filled by employees that have demonstrated that they can work with all levels of the organization, including management. Employees desiring the Relief Operator should have demonstrated a good work ethic and their ability to lead as well as their commitment to the Core Values. Qualification: For this position, employees should be signed off on either Slidell or Niro units within AutoPack. The candidate will be paid as Operator 1/Operator 1 Specialist until that formally complete the MOC-P for the job. The MOC-P requires being signed off on all the units in AutoPack and completing required benchmarks within 3 months. This is a rotating position, and some duties will include operating any AutoPack machine, product safety checks, support continuous improvement processes, driving a PIT or Bendi, sanitation and housekeeping, may cover for the lead operator, and other assigned duties. During any given day, the job may include moving from one unit to the next to ensure troubleshooting activities are efficiently/effectively completed. The expectations for a Relief Operator is that you have a good viewpoint of the overall operations and execute with limited direction. The Relief will be required to demonstrate their ability to multi-task, handle different situations at one time, and execute effectively before being signed off.
