IT Auditor

This position requires to be working in office, 3 - 4 days per week, from our Bala Cynwyd, PA office.

Job Summary

The IT Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and assessing the design adequacy and effectiveness of our IT controls, policies, and procedures. This role involves conducting audits, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance the security and compliance of our IT infrastructure. Additionally, the IT Auditor will work in conjunction with internal staff augmentation partners and external auditors throughout our audit lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, applications, and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Evaluate and conclude on the design adequacy of IT controls and identify and communicate process and procedure improvements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and identify and communicate areas for improvement.
• Document, track and report out on identified exceptions to IT general controls.
• Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and methodologies.
• Implement and optimize computer aided audit techniques and periodically report out on automated control effectiveness.
• Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to address audit findings and implement improvements.
• Monitor and assess the organization's IT risk management practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to employees on IT audit processes and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-5 years experience as an IT Auditor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT controls, audit methodologies, and risk management practices.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, PCI-DSS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior Big 4 experience is a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CCSFP) are a plus.
