As a Senior Leader in IT Architecture, reporting to the Senior Director Chief Architect - Architecture Delivery Office, you will play a pivotal role in understanding customer requirements, designing scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions, and driving the implementation of innovative solutions that enhance sales effectiveness and revenue growth. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will deliver impactful outcomes aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.
How You Will Contribute:
Requirements Analysis: Gather and analyze customer requirements to translate them into scalable and efficient Salesforce Sales solutions. Solution Design: Architect end-to-end Salesforce Sales solutions, covering lead management, opportunity tracking, account management, and sales forecasting that align with enterprise standards and business needs. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with sales teams to identify pain points, propose innovative solutions, and translate technical details into business terms. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery that meets customer expectations. Solution Support: Lead the implementation of Salesforce Sales solutions, including configuration, customization, proof-of-concepts, and integration with other systems, ensuring compliance and performance requirements are met. Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure adherence to best practices. Testing & Documentation: Conduct system testing and assist with user acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability. Create technical documentation and training materials for customers and internal teams. Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on Salesforce Sales solutions and industry best practices. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce Sales Cloud features, releases, and best practices to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge and effective.
The Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on Sales solutions. Extensive experience designing and implementing end-to-end Salesforce Sales solutions, including lead management, opportunity tracking, account management, and sales forecasting. Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud features, including reports, dashboards, sales automation, and flows. Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and other development tools. Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and quoting tools integration with Salesforce. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical business solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers. Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Application Architect (CAA) are highly desirable. Proven track record of successful Salesforce Sales solution implementations and customer satisfaction.
The Assets:
Master's degree is a plus Experience with Marketo, Adobe Experience Platform, PowerBI, quoting tools, Revenue Cloud, bid tools, Oracle, JIRA, Snowflake, HighSpot, Totango, and other related technologies.
Pay Range:
The annual pay range for this position in Canada is 128,000 - 198,000 CAD The annual pay range for this position in US is $141,700 - 226,300 #LI-JD
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
