    Tuesday: 8:45am-2:15pm
    Wednesday: 8:45am-11:45am
    Thursday: 8:45am-2:15pm

    *All ESY Teachers required to attend mandatory preparation meeting on June 25, 2025, from 8:30am-12:30pm.

    License Required:
    Early Childhood Special Education, Birth-Age 6

    Compensation:
    Current contracted Minnetonka Teachers receive their contracted hourly equivalent pay rate.
    External hires receive the Summer Pay Rate per the Teacher CBA.

    This Position Is Not Medical or Dental Benefit Eligible.

    Job Description:
    1. Provide consultation and direct instruction for identified students age 3-5 within the Extended School Year educational setting(s).
    2. Provide work direction to paraprofessionals serving children on caseload.
    3. Participate as a member of the ECSE team to evaluate current services and plan for future needs.
    4. Serve as a resource and liaison to parents and educators working with outside agencies.
    5. Will participate in training on third party reimbursement and implement third party reimbursement tasks as needed.
    6. Will attend ESY Round-up and pre-meetings; will have classroom set up prep time.

    Experience/Qualifications:
    1. Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a team in home based, center based, and inclusion settings.
    2. Experience working with preschool children through age five and their families.
    3. Knowledge of IEP/IFSP development and due process.
    4. Evidence of strong assessment and consultation skills.
    5. Evidence of strong written and oral communication skills.
    6. Knowledge of professional resources.
