Pharmacist in Charge (Part Time)

As part of the Credentialing and Licensing department, the "Pharmacist-In-Charge", will work to ensure that, where applicable and to the extent possible, all applicable state and local regulations are met with respect to "out-of-state mail order pharmacies". This may include, maintaining business integrity, credentialing, and business audits, both internally and externally. Major Areas of Accountability
- Assisting in the review and development of policies and procedures for the acceptance of prescriptions
- Reviewing patient medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Identifying and communicating operational deficiencies while complying with company policies & procedures
- Working cross functionally with internal stakeholders to support organizational requirements
- Serve as a clinical resource for non-medical staff
- Support training and education on clinical need qualifications, justification, and regulatory requirements when knowledge gaps are identified for internal associates
- Understanding and adhering to all company and department policies, procedures, and process documents

- Other duties, as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Must have minimally completed a Master's degree program and minimally holds the designation of RPh
- Must be licensed in the state of Florida; may be required to obtain and maintain additional licenses as dictated by state requirements
- Strong competency of the US healthcare and payer rules specifically related to DME
- Proven ability to establish and foster stakeholder relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous "Pharmacist-In-Charge" experience with another DMEPOS supplier
- Experience working with urological and ostomy supplies
- Proven ability to work in a remote high paced environment

- The compensation range for this position is starting at $55 per hour. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
