Led by the firm's first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs (GS) has unified the discipline, codifying a business-critical function seen as core to the firm's future growth. As such, GS has built a data and technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization consists of key Centre of Excellence roles in areas such as Brand, Paid Media, and Content Marketing, as well as marketing leads for each of our revenue divisions. Within the Global Marketing function sits the Asset Management Marketing team, responsible for end-to-end marketing strategies and programs for the entirety of the business. Marketing helps shape the Goldman Sachs Asset Management brand and protect and grow the business's reputation. They create and deliver targeted, integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, paid media and in-person experiences, which broaden our client footprint, deepen relationships with clients, diversify our asset base, and fuel business growth.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Seismic product lead to drive the implementation of Seismic for the Asset Management business. The product lead vice president will work globally across marketing, sales, engineering, and compliance to deliver Seismic successfully to the organization. You will ensure that the platform meets business objectives and work to implement new features and functionality. You will define a long-term roadmap for Seismic and work closely with engineering to execute.

Key Responsibilities



  • Product Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision based on user needs and business goals. Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high level use cases and technical requirements.
  • Product Development: Lead the full product lifecycle including ideation, development, testing and launch of Seismic functionality. Develop, implement and maintain production timelines across multiple workstreams. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for engineering teams. Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with engineering, marketing and sales in the development, QA and release of features, ensuring an efficient and smooth process for all groups.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate gathering feedback from across the organization to help inform enhancements and overall project roadmap.
  • Measurement: Monitor performance and analyze data. Define key performance indicators to track the success of Seismic and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Act as a liaison between marketing, business teams and engineering. Communicate the product strategy and roadmap to stakeholders.



Qualifications

Required:



  • 8+ years' experience
  • Bachelor's degree in product design or engineering
  • Experience working with Seismic or other platform designed to empower the sales organization (such as Salesforce)
  • Understanding of software development processes and technologies
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems, both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of business principles and market dynamics
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills


Preferred:



  • Asset management industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this Chicago, Illinois, United States-based position is $110000-$230000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
