What to Expect As a Die Shop Metallurgist, you will play a key role in supporting our team in the production of Tesla's high-pressure die casting (HPDC) dies. You will be responsible for material selection, processing development, analysis, and validation as it related to die materials. You will oversee the heat treatment and surface treament processes to fine-tune the material properties for HPDC dies.
