A reasonable estimate for this position is $68,247 -$94,470 Application Window Open date: April 2, 2025 Most recent review date: Thursday, Apr 17, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Tuesday, Mar 31, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis invites applications for lecturer positions to teach courses in its undergraduate Managerial Economics major during the 2025-2026 academic year. Compensation and the duration of the appointment will depend on the number of courses assigned and the number of units per course. General Information: Courses to be taught: ARE 18 - Business Law Other courses may be added to this list as needed to cover one-time openings. Expanded course descriptions may be viewed on the Department's website: https://managerialeconomics.ucdavis.edu/course-descriptions. Responsibilities: Service Dates: Salary: Applications may be submitted throughout the 2025-2026 academic year with appointments made as suitable candidates are identified. However, to guarantee consideration, applications should be received by the "Initial Review Date" for the 2025-26 academic year. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter with course preferences and quarters available, three letters of recommendation, a curriculum vita, and evidence of teaching proficiency. Candidates may be asked for further evidence of scholarship or teaching effectiveness at a later date. Candidates must apply online at http://recruit.ucdavis.edu. First review will be for internal applicants who had an appointment in 2024-2025. If we do not make a hire from the internal applicants, we will consider external applicants who applied by the "Initial Review Date". The criterion for appointment is evidence of teaching excellence and expertise in the subject matter area. Individuals recruited should possess a post-baccalaureate degree in the relevant subject matter area or equivalent advanced coursework and professional expertise at time of appointment.
