This role in our Global Security Compliance & Risk team at Snowflake will help drive customer trust across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Principal EMEA Program Lead, will be a high-impact individual contributor who will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of multiple projects - defining system impacts and scope, owning the project plan/schedule, driving deliverables, and managing multiple projects with moderate to high levels of business or technical complexity. You will interact daily with multiple cross-functional teams in IT, Business, Security and Compliance. As a Principal EMEA Program Lead, you will regularly interact with leadership and ensure the smooth delivery of projects in your program portfolio. As the Principal, EMEA Program Lead - Customer Trust, you will:
Respond to customer inquiries about the Snowflake's security and compliance obligations and documentation. Become an expert on Snowflake's control environment, security features and best practices for customer deployment.
Develop understanding of regulated industry compliance requirements and communicate how Snowflake control activities meet global regulatory obligations. Become a trusted advisor, facilitator and respond to customer and regulatory inquiries about Snowflake's security and compliance obligations and documentation. Participate in sales calls to discuss Snowflake's security and compliance capabilities.
Our ideal Principal EMEA Program Lead, Customer Trust will have:
Deep understanding of regulations, such as; EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), FCA Guidance: Operational resilience: Critical third parties to the UK financial sector and other applicable standards and requirements. Bachelors, Masters or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Accounting/Auditing, Cybersecurity or other related fields. 12+ years of technical audit experience in programs such as C5, Cyber Essentials Plus, PCI-DSS, SOC2, ISO certifications or IT audits based on ISAE 3402 A detailed understanding of evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT controls, evidence collection, and experience working with auditors/regulators for these types of assessments. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other major Cloud Service Provider experience Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate compliance related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across different time zones (PST, EST, etc.) Experience building certification roadmaps based on regulatory requirements, compliance documentation, and ensuring that scheduled assessments are delivered on schedule.
