Company Information Job Summary Lead the creation and execution of fan-centric merchandise, team apparel, and brand collaborations. Reporting to the Director of Creative & Brand, this role bridges creativity and business strategy to deliver high-impact products that drive revenue and deepen brand loyalty. The ideal candidate will partner with internal teams and external collaborators like Adidas, MLS, and Rank & Rally, while also supporting broader design needs across Galaxy Studios. This position requires experience in sportswear, streetwear, or fashion, with a strong understanding of product development, cultural trends, and business-driven design. Essential Functions Design & Development *Lead the design and development of team merchandise, collaborations, and custom products in alignment with the LA Galaxy brand and fan expectations. *Establish and execute a strong design vision, translating concepts into final products while maintaining brand consistency across all platforms. *Research market trends and analyze competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in product design. * Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., Social, Content, Fan Experience) to ensure seamless product launches and cohesive brand storytelling. Merchandising & Product Strategy *Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market expansion, including partnerships with new retailers and product categories. *Manage inventory, product assortment, and lifecycle in collaboration with Rank & Rally, ensuring seasonal sell-through, quality standards, and alignment with business goals. *Lead storytelling and marketing initiatives for product launches, working closely with Galaxy Studios and internal teams to enhance fan engagement and drive sales. *Analyze sales performance and consumer feedback to optimize future product development, marketing strategies, and merchandising decisions. Brand Design *Ensure creative consistency and high-quality execution across all Galaxy Studios design projects, aligning with the LA Galaxy brand and overall business strategy. *Maintain a deep understanding of the target audience and industry trends to develop culturally relevant and engaging designs. * Stay ahead of design and cultural trends to keep the LA Galaxy brand fresh, innovative, and connected to fan preferences. Required Qualifications
