Org, Team, and Role Scope:

The Information Technology Group (ITG) supports all business functions by building efficiencies in processes and technology. The Integrations team plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless data exchange across applications while managing system reliability and scalability.

The L3 Integrations Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Managing high-priority L3 integration issues with minimal downtime.
  • Designing and implementing robust integration solutions that align with business needs.
  • Collaborating with the Center of Excellence (CoE) teams to enhance integration frameworks.
  • Participating in architectural discussions with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

The team is distributed across Hyderabad, India, Scottsdale, AZ, and Waukesha, WI and consists of integration engineers, support associates, and developers working on strategic projects.

Current Technical Environment:

  • Primary Applications: Workday HR, Workday Finance, Salesforce CRM, Upland PSA
  • Integration & Data Stack: Workday Integrations (HCM, FMS, Studio, RaaS, template integrations), Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Event Grid, Event Hub, Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Databricks, SQL, Python, Shell Script
  • Development Frameworks: .NET, Serverless & Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices, ITIL, Agile, DevOps

What you will do:

L3 Support & Issue Resolution:

  • Own and resolve L3 integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact to business processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurring issues.
  • Work closely with support teams, developers, and CoE teams to resolve complex integration challenges.

Integration & Solution Design:

  • Design, develop, and enhance end-to-end integrations between Workday HR, Workday Finance, Salesforce, Upland PSA, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure integrations align with security, scalability, and compliance best practices.
  • Work on data transformations, API design, and integration workflows using Azure Service Bus, Databricks, and Cosmos DB.
  • Optimize existing integrations to improve performance, monitoring, and reliability.

Collaboration & Process Improvement:

  • Partner with business stakeholders, CoE teams, and application owners to understand integration needs and drive solutions.
  • Establish integration standards and best practices for system-to-system communication.
  • Support the Hire-to-Retire and Lead-to-Cash processes by ensuring smooth data flow between Workday, Salesforce, and financial systems.

DevOps & Automation:

  • Improve monitoring and logging of integrations for better observability.
  • Work with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Python and Shell scripting.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise integrations and application development.
  • Expert in .NET, Azure Stack, Azure Service Bus, Cosmos DB, SQL, Python, Logic Apps, Function Apps and Shell Scripting.
  • Knowledge of Workday (HR & Finance), Salesforce, Upland PSA, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience in API development, data transformation, and real-time/event-driven integrations.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Agile, ITIL, and ITAM frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Databricks, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Stack
  • Relevant certifications in Azure, Workday, or Salesforce integrations.

The salary range for this position is: $ 130,023.09 - $ 163,976.90 USD.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
