TITLE: System Engineer for AI & AD Next Gen SW Architectures DUTIES: Define the Functional architecture required by the targeted next generation feature-specified from the Vehicle system level perspective by the Vehicle features team. Define the SW Architecture of the SW stack that will implement those features. Allocate the SW modules to the EE architecture. Refine the performance and safety requirements of the SW modules. Negotiate and iterate if needed those deliverables with our stakeholders either upstream (Vehicle system level) or downstream AI/SW modules designers. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or related and 8 years of experience in Job offered or a related position working as System Engineer. Experience must include: Experience with Vehicle Bus and automotive Communication Protocols Physical Layer understanding, including: LVDS, CAN, LIN and Ethernet for Automotive; experience working with General Communication Protocols Physical Layer, including: I2C, UART, SPI, RGB; 4 years experience working in SW architecture design, splitting functional expectations into SW modules; experience with Automotive Power supplies design, HMI modules technologies, and ADAS/AD technologies; experience with trouble shooting tools, including DFM/ 8D Report / Simulations / Ishikawa and 5 Whys; experience developing and maintaining the hardware architecture for automotive products according to the requirements and specifications provided. Scale Agile framework (SAFe) Level 5 practitioner certification. OTHER: Job Site: 800 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. 40 hours/week.
