Location: Any US Dot Foods Distribution Center

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Process Safety Manager

Salary Range: $56,466 to $84,700 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As a Contractor Safety Coordinator, you will gather and evaluate all safety related documents and verify insurance meets Dot Foods requirements for all our contractors across all locations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Setup and manage Dot Foods, Inc. internal Contractor Safety Program at all locations.
  • Monitor and analyze Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), Days Away/Restricted Transfer Rate (DART), Certificates of Insurance (COI), OSHA 300 Logs, and Experience Modifier Rates (EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA safety programs.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation and records.
  • Ensure onsite contractor evaluations are being completed as required.
  • Provide training and support to contractors on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of safety.
  • Applies Lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position


YOU MUST HAVE



  • Occupational Safety degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of TRIR, DART, COI, OSHA 300 Logs, and EMR.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and EPA safety guidelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Travel - Occasional travel for internal training and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
