DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of licensure applications and the inspection of program operations. You will oversee a team of Human Services Licensing Representatives who evaluate and inspect various types of facilities, including community homes, family living homes, adult training facilities, and vocational facilities. You will be involved in making recommendations for approval, renewal, or revocation of licensure for these facilities. Your consistent application of licensing instruments will be vital in preparing for inspections and reviewing any plans for correction. In addition, you will provide guidance and technical assistance to community service providers, conduct investigations into any complaints, and oversee scheduling and inspections with providers. Your role will also involve processing violations and plans of correction, ensuring that licenses are issued in a timely manner. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch (12:00 PM - 12:30 PM).
- Telework: This is a home headquartered position which will require you to be headquartered at your home and travel to worksites to complete your work duties. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
- Travel: You will be required to travel to the South East Region which includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Human Services Licensing Representative (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Southeast Region (which includes Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties) by the time of hire.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
